3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,
2 Corinthians 1:3
Here Paul reminds the church, all of us in fact, of the source of all mercies and comfort – indeed our very salvation through Jesus Christ – God the Father. Praise Him for all He is and all He has done. Blessing Him is a great way to remind us who He is.
